Cookie Monster Strain Review
Cookie Monster is an indica dominant cannabis strain.
It is a cross between the popular (and one of my favorites) Girl Scout Cookies and OG Kush.
THC content has been measured at between 14% and 23%.
This strain is quite pungent, so use discretion if you do not want anyone to know you are medicating with it.

I have medicated solely with this strain for the past 5 days using my dry herb vaporizer.
** The reason I say possibly for insomnia is that it didn’t help me fall asleep if I only vaped half a bowl. Even with a full bowl, I had to vape it twice in order to feel sleepy. With my vaporizer, I am able to re-vape a bowl without burning the weed. With that said, because of the other relief it provided, there were times that I didn’t need the head high to fall asleep. I will adjust this rating if others find that it does help them fall asleep.
The only reason I am not giving this strain high marks for sleep is that it doesn’t make me feel like I need to be in bed within 15 minutes like I did with Skywalker and Cherry Pie.
I find that this strain delivers a heavy body high. It relaxed my muscles and left my body feeling like I was becoming one with the couch. After vaping one bowl, my mind wasn’t distracted from pain, in fact, I was able to think more clearly than before medicating. After the initial head high wore off I was able to pay attention to what I was watching and even better, remember what I had watched. I also found this strain to be great for working. My creative juices flow but in a productive manner instead of a million half thoughts flying around my brain.
During my test period, I was suffering from nausea. This strain was perfect for daytime use as I was able to eat after vaping and still stay awake.
I purchased this strain to test for as a bedtime medication. It was even recommended it by the budtender at the dispensary as a bedtime strain. However, after my test period, I have found that this strain is better for daytime pain relief and work when I am having a high pain day.

- Insomnia: 3
- Depression: 4
- Pain: 5

Finding concentrates in the strains I want is much harder than with flower. However, as I find them available I will test them to compare and will publish other’s results when submitted.
